Frank Doe - Died on 21 May 1984, aged 73. Born on 06 June 1910 in Brentford, Middlesex.
I was only 4 years old when my Grandad passed away, but my dad is a wonderful man and he worshipped
his dad, that is how I know what a great man my Grandad was. Sadly taken from us in hospital -
diagnosed only 2 weeks before he died with lung cancer. He had seen his doctors with pain and ill
health for around 15 years but was initially told he was malingering (!) and then tragically wrongly
diagnosed with arthritis. I wish I could have known him better.
So proud of him for his bravery during World War 2 - his story is on the BBC WW2 People's War
website which my dad did an amazing job of putting together in his memory. Links to his story in the

I know he's watching down on us, and now my dear nan has joined him on 22 July 2007 (also on this
site - Grace Doe). We love you both and miss you with all our hearts. Leaves 2 sons - Leslie and
John, and 2 Grand-daughters - Melanie and Emma.

How is it that I never saw your wings
when you were here with me?

SORRY FOR THE LACK OF CANDLES LAST FEW DAYS. LOTS HAVE HAPPEN, MY SON CHRISTOPHER 16 WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT. THANK GOD THAT HE'S OK. HE WAS ON HIS WAYTO FOOTBALL PRACTICE AND FELL ASLEEP DRIVING. I KNOW ANTHONY AND HIS GRANDFATHER MUST OF BEEN WATCHING OVER HIM. THANK GOD HE'S OK. ALSO BEEN WORKING ON MY HOUSE. IT MY HUSBANDS GLEN'S BIRTHDAY ON THE 26TH, JUST IS ALSO THANKSGIVING HERE AND TRYING TO MAKE IT SPECIAL FOR HIM AND MY FAMILY. SO SENDING YOU EXTRA LOVE AND (((HUGS))).
